i want to be better than i am
it should be easier to smile
to laugh
and be the crazy dirty mouthed
kid that really lives inside.
in this recent journey i have
forgotten how not to get caught up
in all this mess.
i feel like i have not had
a chance to rest
or be without question.
i just want to be.
without question.
better than i am.
