moon at night

I am distracted lately. I haven't felt comfortable sitting down to write long entries about events of life or what have you. I've been a bit consumed with a photo project, web projects, tshirts, ebay, tiles...

I just want everything to pay off.

I have been looking at other available Windows based browsers. Yesterday, I couldn't get a webbased application to run properly in IE even after closing the browser and restarting. Since, I couldn't figure out what was causing the problem other than IE itself I took a look at some of the other browsers out there. I have firmly settled on firefox as my new browser. For some reason I thought it was only for macs. Go figure. If you're not using, I would suggest giving it a try.

Are there any new programs you've tried recently that you think I should know about? I'm on a downloading frenzy.

there is a photo-organizing tool for PCs, much like I photo called picasa. it was just acquired by google, which has made their program free. i love some aspects to it, and heck, it is free and better than most other photo transfering software out there.

Nice moon. Interesting use of the rule of thirds.

Some of the extensions for Firefox are very cool. I've used the Chatzilla and the "Web Developer" extensions and liked them. A lot of people like AdBlocker.

And, then, there's always Gimp. It is a lot like Photoshop in some ways, but much more extensible. Primary development is done on Linux, but there are Mac and Windows versions too.
