Who are we
when harsh words
whittle us down?
Whimpering and wailing
with soft voices at
faint ghosts of the past.
that image brought to mind two of my heroes: firefighters and airplane pilots
very interesting composition, works great in b&w

love the mood of this photograph. the deep blacks and soft whites really add to the composition.
