I’m continuing on my book reading goal. Today, I finished up Year Zero by Rob Reid. The book follows Nick Carter, a lawyer not the Backstreet Boy, and his race to save humanity from music loving aliens who owe human musician an enormous amount of money. Working with Carley and Frampton , two aliens, to figure how to save humanity from destruction. This book is clearly influenced by Douglas Adams, but takes Rob Reid’s knowledge of the music industries legalese, as founder of Rhapsody, and spins a funny tale of alien encounters and human ingenuity .
